The Remote Control Line

In compliance with the RED (Radio Equipment Directive) 2014/53/EU, the entire Professional line of 5Tacche repeaters has been equipped with an IP-based remote monitoring system. It is possible to further implement this function by inserting a GSM modem that interacts with the OMT monitoring system server and receives alarms in real time. The OMT controls all the main operating parameters and supervises alarms. Using a serial bus, it transmits via a GSM modem to the remote supervision platform through which it is possible to interact with the repeater and modify settings. The Control Unit mounted on board the repeater contains a microprocessor, main memory, flash memory for software CU, EEPROM memory for parameters, memory for event log and statistics, a REFO reference oscillator, ports for local and remote communication, battery powered real time clock, etc. The system requires a SIM card for sending and receiving SMS.
