Series Domus

Domus UMTS 2100-Intelligent Sistem®
These multi-carrier repeaters are designed to provide 4G LTE coverage at 2100 MHz and where present it also regenerates the 3G signal. Available with a power of 17 dBm in DL and 13 dBm in UL and a Gain of 65 dB in DL and 60 dB in UL. The debut of the 2100 frequency at the end of 2008 represented the first concrete step towards broadband navigation for mobile telephony. The UMTS standard allowed transmission speeds of up to 384 Kbit/s and subsequently with the HSPA+ mode download speeds of 56 Mbit/s and upload speeds of 5.7 could be achieved. Today the 2100 MHz frequency is dedicated to data and voice traffic in VoLTE mode in the 4G standard and it is still used by the operators WIND-3 and Iliad, also in the 3G standard. The aforementioned standard will close by the end of 2024 to make way for the entire 2100 MHz spectrum for 4G LTE.

  • Network: UMTS 2100 MHz
  • Data and voice in 4G VoLTE mode and if present in 3G standard
  • Suitable for small environments;
  • Compatible with all EU mobile providers;
  • CE, RoHS, and Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) certifications;
  • Control via WEB interface, ETH port for remote control.

Description

Made with Intelligent Radio System ® Technology, they can be assembled and be in an optimal condition easily. The Domus 2100 model, with its 17 dBm of power, ensures efficient coverage in the home or small environments, capable of serving surfaces of over 200-250 m2. The Domus 2100 series can be accessorized with different types of internal and external antennas to allow better coverage in larger environments. Where present outdoors, it amplifies the 3 and 4G LTE signals of the Wind-3, TIM, Vodafone, and Iliad operators.

Works

Signal amplification systems work on two separate frequencies: down-link and up-link. Down-link is the signal we receive on our cell phone from operator cells at a specific frequency while Up-link is the signal we transmit from the cell phone to the infrastructure of the various networks. The repeater by means of the external (or donor) antenna connected with a coaxial cable, picks up the signals from the operators' BTSs and amplifies them; then the enhanced and hardened signals are sent to the internal service antenna or antennas connected to the repeater, again by means of a coaxial cable. At this point the signal is ready to be used by your cell phone.
The system will transfer and amplify the signal from Vs cell phone (Up-Link) to the operators' cells with a reverse path from the previous one.

Installation

Main steps:
The installation of a signal amplification system must always and exclusively be carried out by specialized companies with the appropriate equipment. “DO IT YOURSELF” in the absence of experience, competence, and the ability to carry out checks once the system is completed is a practice that should not be done under any circumstances. Inside the package, there is an installation manual in Italian with all the information necessary to carry out the correct assembly. .
