Series Domus

Domus EGSM 900-Intelligent Sistem®
The Domus E900 is the multi-carrier repeater par excellence used since 1990; the birth of the 900 MHz GSM standard. Available with a power of 17 dBm in DL and 13 dBm in UL and a Gain of 65 dB in DL and 60 dB in UL. In recent years it has evolved and the radio spectrum has been expanded by 10 MHz, going from the 935-960 range to 925-960 MHz (referring to the Downlink), changing the definition from GSM to EGSM which stands for Extended GSM. The entire line of 5-bar repeaters at 900 MHz uses the new EGSM standard.

  • Network: EGSM 900 MHz;
  • Voice and Data in 2 and 3G modes;
  • Suitable for small environments;
  • Compatible with all EU mobile provider;
  • CE, RoHS, and Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) certifications;
  • Control via WEB interface, ETH port for remote control.

Description

Made with Intelligent Radio System ® Technology, they can be assembled and be in an optimal condition easily. The Domus 900E model, with its 17 dBm of power, ensures efficient coverage in the home or small environments, capable of serving surfaces of over 300-350 m2. The Domus 900E series can be equipped with different types of internal and external antennas to allow better coverage in larger environments. Where present externally, it regenerates the 2 and 3G signals at 900 MHz from the operators Wind-3, TIM, and Vodafone. With the closure of the 3G standard by TIM and Vodafone, the 900 MHz frequency for the aforementioned operators is dedicated exclusively to the 2G standard for voice and GPRS traffic while the Wind-3 and Iliad operators also use this frequency for traffic 3G voice and data.

Works

Signal amplification systems work on two separate frequencies: down-link and up-link.
Down-link is the signal we receive on our cell phone from operator cells at a specific frequency while Up-link is the signal we transmit from the cell phone to the infrastructure of the various networks.
The repeater by means of the external (or donor) antenna connected with a coaxial cable, picks up the signals from the operators' BTSs and amplifies them; then the enhanced and hardened signals are sent to the internal service antenna or antennas connected to the repeater, again by means of a coaxial cable. At this point the signal is ready to be used by your cell phone.
The system will transfer and amplify the signal from Vs cell phone (Up-Link) to the operators' cells with a reverse path from the previous one.

Installation

Main steps::
The installation of a signal amplification system must always and exclusively be carried out by specialized companies with the appropriate equipment.
“DO IT YOURSELF” in the absence of experience, competence, and the ability to carry out checks once the system is completed is a practice that should not be done under any circumstances.
